Abstract

Today the development of traditional market and modern market raises the perceived pros and cons, both from the seller and the buyer. In line with clear evidence of the role of traditional markets in several economic crises in Indonesia, the government has shown appreciation for its existence for traders and for its cities or service areas. Ex. Kawedanan Wirosari, Grobogan Regency became the location object in this study. This study uses an empirical juridical approach, namely by taking valid legal reference sources from books, journals, and regulations that apply in the research location as well as data obtained in the field, both traditional markets and modern markets that have potential social conflicts over problems that appointed by the author. The results of this study are in the form of a description or description of traditional market conditions with modern markets, potential conflicts and real conflicts that occur in Grobogan Regency. Besides this writing serves to provide solutions for disharmony between traditional markets and modern markets.
