The real aspect of the development of a technology is the creation of an innovation that allows humans to be facilitated by their work. Electronic devices are a manifestation of technological development. Behind the convenience provided by electronic devices, there is a threatening danger namely short circuit and electrical short circuit which can cause a fire. Most of the events that occur due to laziness or forget to turn off the electronic device again after use. For this reason the aim of this research is to make it easier for humans to turn on and turn off electronic devices easily and efficiently. Utilizing the google voice voice command feature that is on an android smartphone as a control to turn off household electronic equipment. The design of this tool is also based on the growth of Android smartphone users which is increasing rapidly. This is able to show that most people make Android smartphones as the main communication media in everyday life. In addition, the selection of an Android smartphone is also based on the nature of an open source system that allows it to be modified by making applications that are connected with microcontrollers and relays through Bluetooth communication media so that an electronic switch based on voice recognition can be created to replace conventional switches with ease its use. The use of communication media in the form of bluetooth makes effective distance that can be used to control household appliances reaching 9-10 meters and the use of more and more relays in this tool can also make control of household appliances more and more.
