Abstract

Introduction: Nursing services for patients to be fulfilled holistically are needed to measure the classification of patients, Classification is a method of grouping patients according to the number of complexities of nursing needs. There is a classification of Total Knee Replacement (TKR) patients, namely self care / self care, intermediate care / moderate care, and intecive care / intensive care. Objective: This study aims to describe the classification of patients treated in inpatients with the Total Knee Replacement (TKR) case at Orthopedic Hospital Prof. DR. R. Soeharso Surakarta. Research Methods: This research is a quantitative research with descriptive survey method. The population of this study were all patients who performed knee joint replacement / Total Knee Replacement (TKR) at Orthopedic Hospital Prof. DR. R. Soeharso Surakarta. The research sample of 30 patients was determined using accidental sampling technique. Data collection uses a questionnaire which is then analyzed using central tendency. Conclusion: Characteristics of Total Knee Replacement (TKR) respondents in Orthopedic Hospital Prof. DR. R. Soeharso Surakarta is mostly 50-55 years old, female, and working as a farmer.
