Abstract

Class management based on student problems is related to the teacher's effort to control student problems and maintain the learning process so that it can take place effectively and efficiently to achieve learning goals. This study aims to describe (1) The uniqueness of the implementation of classroom management based on student problem in science learning in Grade V SDN 1 Sumberagung, (2) Model of classroom management based onstudents in science learning in Grade V SDN 1 Sumberagung, and (3) Management evaluation problem based class students in science learning in Grade V SDN 1 Sumberagung. This study uses qualitative methods with ethnographic design. The location of this study was at SDN 1 Sumberagung. Data collection techniques are carried out by participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques take place in the form of cycles, namely grouping and selecting data obtained from research based on the quality of the truth then describe and conclude the results to answer existing problems. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Application of problem based classroom management of students is able to make the learning atmosphere conducive. Problems related to individual students, study groups, facilities, learning methods, and learning media can be overcome by the teacher. (2) The use of a humanistic model in problem based classroom management students can overcome the problems that arise during the learning process. Students become active and happy, student learning groups can work well together, and student learning outcomes increase. (3) Evaluations are carried out in the form of tests and non-tests. The teacher provides clear assessment criteria to measure students' abilities. The teacher makes an assessment format that is used to measure students 'skills during the learning process and students' knowledge when working on the evaluation sheet.
