Abstract

Market economy is an economic system that is controlled, regulated, directed and controlled by the market itself. As a center of economic activity, the market is a meeting place between sellers and buyers. The research objective is to find out the description of traditional markets and modern markets and find out the solutions to harmonize traditional markets with modern markets at the Ex-Kawedanan Karangpandan. This study uses the Empirical Juridical method using descriptive. Data collection uses homogeneous study participation. Data analysis using qualitative techniques. The results of the study show that: (1) There are conflicts in traditional markets, namely the Karangpandan market and the market with modern markets built in connection with traditional markets, which have an impact on the sales turnover of traders in the traditional market. (2) There Are 3 Aspects That Become Solutions That Need To Be Regulated Which Must Be Regulated With Opening Hours Regulations, Market Regulations, Traders, Legal Agreements etc. The implementation is like Government Concern For Traditional Markets For Traditional Market Protection Healthy business etc.
