Abstract

The purpose of this thesis research is to describe the strategy of Islamic religious education teachers in the moral formation of students in Muhammadiyah Gemolong Al Qolam Middle School, as the purpose of this study; 1) what is the strategy of Islamic religious education teachers in the moral formation of students in Al Qolam Middle School Muhammadiyah Gemolong? 2) how the results of moral development conducted by Islamic religious education teachers at Muhammadiyah Al Qolam Middle School in Gemolong? To achieve the research objectives, field reserch methods are used. The research intends to examine the symptoms of education in the strategy of Islamic religious education teachers as an effort to develop the morals of students in Al Qolam Middle School Muhammadiyah Gemolong. in taking data using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation, researchers will process the data by analyzing the data that has been obtained. after the data is collected in its entirety, the next stage, data will be processed to be presented, and the final stage of conclusion. conclusions from the general, to specific. This research is a type of qualitative research. The approach used is phenomenological, namely, trying to explain or express the phenomenon of human morals which is reflected in habituation with the environment. then after all the data obtained and arranged in a structured and systematic manner then the next step is data analysis, using inductive-deductive analysis, which is checking data by triangulating or comparing fact data in the field with data from various literature sources, then conclusions can be drawn for research as well as an answer to the research problem formulation. Based on the analysis of the research, conclusions were obtained which also answered the research questions, namely the strategy of Islamic religious education teachers in the moral formation of students at Muhammadiyah Gemolong Al Qolam Middle School has gone according to what was expected. But in fact there are several strategies that have not been implemented properly, in implementing the strategy and its implementation. While for the output of students, it is quite good in applying good morals in daily life and reaching the expected human beings, and being able to understand and accept all advice and input well, and have good competitiveness in terms of achievement.
