Abstract

Ferrinda Prafitasari/A510150123. IMPLEMENTATION ROLLING CLASS PROGRAM IN IMPROVING THE STUDENTS MOTIVATION FOR ACHIEVE A MAXIMUM SCORE IN USBN IN SD MUHAMMADIYAH PLUS MALANGJIWAN. Thesis. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. 2019, June. The objectives of this study to describe (1) The implementation of the rolling class program in improving the students motivation for achieve a maximum score in final examination. (2) obstacle. (3) solution. This research used a qualitative method with case study design. The sources of this research were informant, places/events and document. The technique of data collection were (1) observations, (2) interview, (3) documentation and (4) questionnaire. The analysis data used interactive analysis that consist of reduction, presentastion and conclusion. The validity of the data used triangulation source and technique.This study have three results (1) rolling class program have three steps: planning phase consists of evaluation the previous time, the selection of the teacher which join in action, students parents conference. Action step contains of class categorizing according to the test result each month and learning activities, that can improve the students’ motivation to reach maximal score in USBN. Evaluation in action is the division of the students into two groups is situational and students learning results. (2) The obtacle pessimistic and overconfident of the students, (3) solution is teacher involvement, motivator, other program and communication with students parents.
