Abstract

Spiritual needs are a basic need for each individual to seek life goals, meaning life to love and be loved. Someone who experiences anxiety and stress due to the problems they face will usually get closer to the power by praying, this can reduce anxiety and help someone get healing. Spiritual needs in patients with heart failure is very important because it can improve the quality of life of patients. To find out the spiritual needs of heart failure patients in dr. Moewardi Surakarta. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. The sample amounted to 118 respondents. The sampling technique uses total sampling. The technique of collecting data using a questionnaire using Spiritual Needs Quesionaire (SpNQ). The data analysis technique used in this study is to use univariate analysis. According to the Religiousity Domain, most respondents stated that it was very important as many as 101 respondents (85.6%), according to Inner Peace Domain most of the respondents stated that they were very important as many as 72 respondents (61.1%), according to the Existential Domain most respondents stated very important as many as 110 respondents (93.2%), according to Actively Giving Domain most respondents stated very important as many as 66 respondents (55.9%), Based on the results of data analysis it was found that the picture of Spiritual Needs most respondents stated very important as many as 60 respondents (50.6%), while the respondents who stated were quite important were 58 people (49.4%), and there were no respondents who stated that they were not important. Most spiritual needs are considered very important for heart failure patients in the heart clinic Dr. RSUD Moewardi Surakarta in 2019.
