Abstract

This research is motivated by the many phenomena about eroding Islamic values and culture in the nation's children who increasingly show social mischief. One effort that can be done to overcome this is through education. Educational institutions have a considerable role in shaping character and character in each individual. As an Islamic education institution, SMPIT Nur Hidayah Surakarta seeks to apply Islamic values to students in all activities in the school so that students not only have the ability in the field of knowledge but also are able to study Islam as a whole in terms of living in the world and in the hereafter. The researchers examined the implementation of Islamic values in SMPIT Nur Hidayah Surakarta aimed at describing how the implementation of Islamic values on students at SMPIT Nur Hidayah Surakarta, and describing the results of the implementation of Islamic values students in SMPIT Nur Hidayah Surakarta to see the development of students after going through the implementation process carried out by Ustadz and Ustadzah at school. This study included a t ype of qualitative research is used field studies at SMPIT Nur Hidayah Surakarta. The data collection techniques used are through observation, interviews, and documentation of information relating to the implementation of Islamic values in SMPIT Nur Hidayah Surakarta. Analysis carried out using deductive methods that start from general events are then reduced to special parts. Based on the results of the research conducted by the researcher, the researcher can draw the conclusion that the Implementation of Islamic Values ​​ on Students at SMPIT Nur Hidayah Surakarta is pursued through all activities in the school both learning activities in the classroom and other activities such as extracurricular . The method used in the implementation of Islamic values ​​and customs is the first method of understanding students, the second is habituation methods such as getting used to worship, morality, and adhering to adab as a Muslim, third, exemplary method by giving examples directly to students so that students also have the motivation to practice it in everyday life. The efforts made by religious teachers and religious teachers in the school have produced many results, as evidenced by students who naturally perform both obligatory and sunnah worship without having to be reminded again, good relationships are established between teachers and students and students with their friends, and achievement of memorization targets expected by the school.
