Abstract

Abstract Today medical practice is again subject to criticism from various circles of society. Humanistically, doctors as ordinary human beings certainly cannot be separated from negligence and neglect. It is this negligence that occurs while carrying out his professional duties which can lead to medical disputes. This study examines the legal regulations that underlie medical actions between Doctors and RSO Prof. Dr. R. Soeharso Surakarta and legal protection for Doctors who conduct medical malpractice disputes at RSO Prof. Dr. R. Soeharso Surakarta. The research method used is descriptive research with a normative juridical approach. The results of this study concluded that in the internal regulations of the RSO Prof. Dr. R. Soeharso Surakarta, there is no special clause describing the legal protection of doctors who carry out medical actions at the RSO Prof. Dr. R. Soeharso Surakarta, including regarding legal arrangements and the extent to which hospitals protect doctors' rights. Every medical malpractice dispute held by a doctor in the RSO Prof. Dr. R. Soeharso Surakarta is the responsibility between the two, namely between Doctors and RSO Prof. Dr. R. Soeharso. Keywords: Medical Disputes, Legal Protection, Legal Regulations
