Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the factors that lead the XI Accounting class of SMK MuhammadiyahDelanggu in the 2018/2019 school year to have difficulty learning firm accounting practices. The type of this research of qualitative descriptive research.The subject of this research is teacher firm accounting practices and XI Accounting students at SMK MuhammadiyahDelanggu. The technique of collecting data is through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis is performed by means of data collecting, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion.To ensure the validity of the data, source and time triangulation is used. The results shows that the factors that cause learning difficulties trading company accounting practicum include: 1) Internal factors, including lack of interest in participating in trading company accounting practicum learning, lack of student understanding of basic accounting, low logic skills and skills in working adjusting journals, lack of accuracy in working on the balance sheet, and the low attitudes and habits of students in learning the trading company accounting practicum (2) External Factors, including factors of family, school and friends of the students themselves.
