Abstract
Background: Tuberculosis or TB is an infectious disease caused by microbial tuberculosis which can spread through sputum sparks. Tuberculosis is not a hereditary disease and tuberculosis can be cured with regular treatment, supervised by the Drug Control Supervision (PMO). Tuberculosis is a direct infectious disease caused by TB germs. Most TB germs attack the lungs but can also be other organs. Objective: To determine management Physiotherapy in helping reduce sputum retention, reduce shortness of breath, increase thoracic cage expansion and improve breathing patterns. Results: After 4 times of physiotherapy, the results of the assessment of the degree of shortness of breath at T0: 5 to T4: 3, increase in thoracic cage expansion at T0: Axila = 0.5 cm, Intercostal 4 = 0.5 cm, Processus xipoideus = 0 , 5 becomes T4: Axila = 0.5 cm, Inrecostalis 4 = 1 cm, and Processus xipoideus = 1 cm, checking MRC scale at T0: 4 becomes T4: 4. Conclusion: Nebulizers can reduce shortness of breath in the lungs under pulmonary tuberculosis due to bacterium tuberculosis, Segmental Breathing exercise can increase thoracic cage expansion due to the suppression of the lungs.
