Abstract

Abstract Islam is a religion that strongly encourage its followers to hold the principle of shura in living the whel of life. The word shura comes from the word syawara-yusyawiru which means explaining, declaring submission and taking something. Shura or deliberation is to explain or negotiate with each other or ask for mutual exchange of opinion. This research will focus on the interpretation of versus abaut shura in the interpretation that is foun in Q.S Al-Baqarah 233, Q.S Ali-Imran 159, and Q.S As-syuraa 38 who explined abaut shura. The purpose of this research is to understand the concept of shura in Tafseer Al-Qurthubi and various sistematics of interpretation as for the benefits of this research is to find out the meaning of shura verses and add insight into the concept of shura in the Qur’an. This research is a library research because it relies on literature with deskriptive analityc approach. As for the primary data in this study is the data of research taken from the book Al-Qurhubi other works related to shura. As for secondary data in this The conclusion of this study is to find and explore works related to the discussion of shura in the form of books of scientific word. Then to get conclusions from this research, the researcher found three points of the concept of shura, in the explanation of Al-Qurthubi so that they can understand the concept of shura namely shura in family affairs, shura in government affairs, and shura in the affairs of the ummah.
