Abstract

This study aims to describe the dissemination of the values of Indonesian Unity through song videos with the modification of the Answer Gallery and Scramble strategies to improve understanding of the values of Indonesian Unity in adolescents of Banyuanyar Village Mosque, Banjarsari District, Surakarta City. This study used a pre-experimental type method with the design of the Pretest One and Posttest Group. This research was conducted in Banyuanyar Village, Banjarsari District, Surakarta City. The population in this study amounted to 40 and 20 samples. The sampling technique used in this study was cluster sampling. Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaire and observation methods. Indicators of the values of Indonesian Unity used in this study are: 1) The same feeling in togetherness and the same between people; 2) driven by human nature as social beings; 3) the existence of a dependency requirement between humans with each other; 4) the existence of the soul's impulse as high and as low; 5) there is an urge to help other people's distress. The validity of this study uses the Pearson Product Correlation formula. Reliability uses the Kuder Richardson formula (KR-20). Normality in this study used the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test and Shapiro Wilk. Linearity in this study uses regression tests. The data analysis used in this study is the paired sample t-test. The results show that t count 7.9824 is greater than t table 2.086 with a significance level of 0.05. This shows that there are differences in understanding in the Banyuanyar Village mosque, Banjarsari Subdistrict, Surakarta City between pre-test and post-test socialization of the values of Indonesian Unity through video playback of songs with modifications to the Answer Gallery and Scramble strategies. Pretest average score of 10.35 increased to 14.55 on the Posttest. Based on the two data, it is then compared to obtain a value of 4.2 difference. Based on these results it can be concluded that the hypothesis proposed H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a difference in understanding the values of Indonesian Unity in adolescents of Banyuanyar Village Mosque, Banjarsari District, Surakarta City after socialization of Indonesian Unity values through video playback of songs with strategy modifications Answer Gallery and Scramble or there is a pretest and posttest average.
