Abstract
This study aims to find out about self-disclosure in interpersonal communication of problematic students with the supervisor in High School of Assalaam Boarding School Sukoharjo works. This study is a type of qualitative case study. The research subjects are students from Sukoharjo High School Assalaam Islamic Boarding School. The sample of this study are six students. This study uses a purposive sampling technique. Data collection is done by in-depth interview techniques. In the validity of the data the researcher conducts the data validity by using source triangulation techniques. Interactive analysis of Miles and Huberman has been used to anakyze the data. Research results: a). Frequency, duration or time of communication in self-disclosure of problematic students with their coaches, which is carried out for 30 minutes-2.5 hours; b) Revelation about positive or negative things, which are several topics regarding to problems around family, friends, and learning activities in boarding schools; c) The accuracy of santriwati's self-disclosure with the coaches, which is the santriwati are open and honest about various problems that they are facing (for example to the coaches, and parents). d). Intention, breadth and awareness express more information with the type of cliche and feeling than opinions and facts; e) Intimacy, for the closeness of the santri who already feels close to the coach, meanwhile in intimacy the results shows that some are close already and some are not
