Abstract
Health is an important factor in all human activities. Along with rapid population growth, it affects the surrounding environment which can lead to health problems that cause various cases of disease. Starting from the disease scale of ordinary events to extraordinary events. For example, dengue hemorrhagic fever is one of the outbreaks in Karangnyar Regency. The most cases of DHF occurred in Colomadu District with 132 cases spread in 11 villages. Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a disease caused by the dengue virus belonging to the Arthropod-Borne Virus, the genus Flavivirus, and the family Flaviviridae. DHF is transmitted through mosquito bites from the genus Aedes, especially Aedes aegypti. DHF events can form a pattern of distribution of dengue cases in Colomadu District. DHF is caused by several factors such as demographic factors, namely age, gender and education. This study will measure the influence of demographic factors in the presence of existing distribution patterns, using the nearest neighbor analysis and regression techniques. The purpose of this study was (1) to examine the distribution patterns of DHF cases in Colomadu District in 2016. (2) Analyze the influence of demographic factors on the spread of dengue cases in Colomadu District in 2016. The method used was descriptive qualitative and quantitative, which explained the results of processing data in maps distribution pattern of DHF cases in Colomadu Subdistrict and regression results to determine the effect of demographic factors on distribution patterns. The results showed that (1) Colomadu District has 2 patterns of distribution of DHF cases, random distribution patterns of Ngasem Village, Malangjiwan Village, Gawanan Village, Gajahan Village and Blulukan Village. While the pattern is clustered, namely Bolon Village, Paulan Village, Gedongan Village, Tohudan Village, Klodran Village and Baturan Village. (2) Demographic factors used, namely age, sex and education have an influence of around 33.2% in the spread of cases of dengue hemorrhagic fever which happened in Colomadu District.
