Abstract

Mathematics has many branches in its learning, one of them is geometry. Geometry is though since elementary school education. The low interest of students when they encounter difficult math problems and even tend to avoid them. Many media can be used in learning, which is with teaching tools, audio, animation, and also games. Digital games have the potential for a good learning environment because the result of playing will motivate students to actively learn through several elements of the game. This study aims to design an educational media learning game to improve student learning motivation. The method used in this study is Research and Development (R & D). The research subjects were 20 students in class 4. Students were divided into two groups, the first group used educational game learning media and the other group did not. From the results of the N-Gain test shows that with the media getting an average of 0.29 and without the media getting an average of 0.11 indicates that the class using media is more effective in learning.
