Abstract
This study aimed to analyze the effect of the BI Rate variable , the exchange rate (KURS), the money supply (JUB), the government expenditure (G), the tax receipt (Tax) on inflation (INF) in Indonesia. The used area as the object in this study was the country of Indonesia in 1999-2018. The type of data used in this study was quantitative data in the form of time series. This study used secondary data obtained from the sources of the annual report of Bank Indonesia, the Central Statistics Agency, the Ministry of Finance. The analyzed data included the BI Rate, Exchange Rate (IDR/USD), Amount of Money Supply, Government Expenditures, Taxes for 1999-2018. The used model in this study was the OLS (Ordinary Least Square) model. The results showed that the variable BI Rate and Tax Revenue (Tax) had a significant effect on the inflation rate in Indonesia, while the exchange rate variable (KURS), the money supply (M1) and government expenditure (G) did not significantly influence the inflation rate in Indonesia. The results showed R2 value of 0.670082 means that 67.0082% variation in inflation variable (INF) can be explained by the variable BI Rate (R), exchange rate (KURS), money supply (M1), government expenditure (G) and tax revenue (Tax). The remaining 32.9918% was influenced by variables or other factors outside the research model.
