Abstract

Hypertension is a condition where abnormal blood pressure increases. As a person with a disease of history, knowledge of quality of life must be possessed. Research Objectives: This study aims to describe the level of knowledge of hypertensive patients about quality of life. Benefits of the study: Can find out how the description of the knowledge of hypertensive patients about the quality of life is good, sufficient or lacking. Research Method: This research is a quantitative research with a simple descriptive research design to obtain a description of the level of knowledge of hypertensive patients about the quality of life in the Pajang Health Center Work Area. The study sample was hypertensive patients who were in the Pajang Health Center Working Area and were selected based on the sample frequency. A measuring instrument used to measure knowledge using a questionnaire with 20 questions. Research Results: Based on statistical analysis in getting results, from 77 respondents there were 54 people (70%) who were well-informed, respondents with enough knowledge 20 people (26%) and respondents with less knowledge of 3 people (4%). Conclusion: In the analysis it was concluded that the level of knowledge of hypertensive patients about the quality of life in the Work Area of Pajang Public Health Center was good.
