Abstract

Background: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder and abnormality that occurs in the cerebellum which can affect senso-motor processing, which can cause deficits in social interaction, communication and limited interest and repetitive behavioral patterns that can last throughout life. If a child who has Autism Spectrum Disorder is not diagnosed and treated properly, the ASD child will experience physical deterioration and cause some symptoms such as evidence of sensory process dysfunction Neurosensory Reflex Integration Therapy and the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) method are effective interventions for the case of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Questionnaire of Dynamic Changes in Children 's Abilities is a measurement tool for sensory sensation in ASD children. Childhood Autism Rating Scale (CARS) is a tool to measure the severity of ASD children Objektif: to the aim of this study was the effect of Neurosensory Reflex Integration (NRI) and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) on sensory enhancement in the visual and auditory part of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Method: Quasi Experimental Design is a design method used in this study using 18 respondents aged 6-10 years taken by purposive sampling technique. Sensory measurements with Questionnaire of Dynamic Changes in Children 's Abilities, while the Childhood Autism Rating Scale is used to determine the severity of children in Autism Spectrum Disorder. Result: the results of the study using the Wilcoxon test obtained z -2.121 with a p-value of 0.034 <0.05 and the results of the Mann-Whitney test obtained z -2.257 with a p-value of 0.024 <0.05. Conclusion: There is a significant and significant difference in the group giving Neurosensory Reflex Integration and Applied Behavior Analysis to sensory enhancement in the visual and auditory section of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
