Abstract
Learning media is the media used in facilitating the delivery of material in a learning. The use of media in science learning activities in elementary schools needs to be developed to help students understand the concepts of the material presented, to create fun learning for students and to make it easier for teachers to deliver material. The objectives of this study are: (1) To describe the implementation of pop up media in elementary science learning; (2) Analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of pop up media that are used as science learning media; (3) Describe the benefits of pop ups in science learning. The method in this study is qualitative, the technique of data collection is done by means of interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that: (1) the implementation of pop up media in science learning has three stages, namely the first planning, planning the media in accordance with the science material in the school, the second is implementing, implementing learning using pop up media; the third evaluation was carried out when finishing learning in using media; (2) the advantages and disadvantages of small size pop up media, the material needed is easy to find but easily torn: 3) the benefits of using pop up media are able to overcome students' passivity, facilitate the delivery of material.
