Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the GDP variables, Population, Community Consumption, Inflation and the Open Unemployment Rate for the Number of Poor Population in Ex Surakarta Karisidenan in 2011-2017. The analytical method in this study uses Panel Data analysis with Regency / City observation objects in the Ex-karisidenan Surakarta in 2011-2017 with the help of program application eviews. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from the Badan Pusat Stat (BPS). Based on the results of the Chow Test and Hausman Test the best model chosen was Random Effect Model (REM). Based on the results of the validity test of the effect (t test) at the level of significance (α) of 0.10 variables that have a positive and significant effect on the Poverty Level are the variables of Population and Open Unemployment Rate. While the variables that have a negative and significant effect on the Poverty Level are GDP and Inflation variables. While variables that do not affect the Poverty Level are the variables of Community Consumption. Keywords: Poverty, Eks-Karisidenan Surakarta, Consumption, Data Panel.
