Abstract

Gajah Mungkur Reservoir is a mainstay of Wonogiri regency located not far from Wonogiri city center, making this tourist attraction visited by many tourists, in addition to the relatively low cost of entry. In the attraction of Gajah Mungkur Reservoir there are actually quite a lot of adequate facilities for traveling such as: water park, floating stalls, zoos, play areas, and water tourism. However, accommodation facilities such as resort hotels are not yet available in this area, this is one of the important parts that can be used to support tourism in the Gajah Mungkur reservoir. Gajah Mungkur Reservoir is the largest reservoir in Southeast Asia, the accommodation facilities are quite important because in addition to supporting tourism it can also be used for the management of the reservoir itself, taking into account the existing regional regulations in Wonogiri Regency. The thing that must be very concerned from the planning of resort hotels in the Gajah Mungkur reservoir area is about green building, that is, in the design process must use environmentally friendly materials, do not have a negative impact on the reservoir in this case pollution. The plan for contemporary architectural style is an architectural style that is suitable for resort hotel buildings in the Gajah Mungkur reservoir because it seems simple there are no special features, this style can also be an attraction for tourists who want to visit this resort hotel.
