Abstract
This study aims to describe village financial management and the readiness of village officials in welcoming the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation (Permendagri) Number 20 of 2018 concerning Village Financial Management in Gempolan Village. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with interview, observation and documentation approach. The data validity technique uses source triangulation, technical triangulation and theory triangulation. The results of the study show that the financial management of Gempolan Village in 2018 still implemented Permendagri Number 113 of 2014. financial reporting in Gempolan Village has applied the principles of transparency and accountability. Village financial funds influence the growth rate of rural development. With the village finance fund, the village has developed both in terms of infrastructure and human resources (HR) through funded trainings from village finance funds. In the financial management of Gempolan Village, human resources as well as the lack of training and counseling of village officials regarding village financial management from the regional government are considered to be a limiting factor for the readiness of village officials in managing village finances.
