Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of Guided Note Taking Learning Strategies in increasing learning interest and learning activeness of science in fourth grade students of SD Negeri 01 Denggungan Banyudono Boyolali 2017/2018 Academic Year. The types of research conducted include Class Action Research. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, observation, and documentation. Observation techniques used in this study include: 1. Assessment of observations in learning for teachers and students, 2. The process of observing the interests and activeness of student learning in learning. The data validity technique in this study uses technical triangulation and source triangulation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics. The indicator that must be achieved by students is an increase in interest and active learning of students through the Guided Note Taking strategy. Students can achieve minimum completeness criteria (KKM) of 70. Thus the application of Guided Note Taking learning strategies can increase the interest in the learning activeness of science in the matter of Energy and its use for fourth grade students of SD Negeri 01 Denggungan Banyudono Boyolali Academic Year 2017/2018. The results showed that: the first cycle of students with students' learning interest was 59.09% or as many as 13 students who experienced mastery, while in the second cycle there was an increase of 90.90% or as many as 20 students who experienced mastery. While in the first cycle student learning activity was obtained 54.55% as 12 students who had reached the specified standard, and in the second cycle were obtained by 86.36% or as many as 19 students who had reached the specified standard.
