Abstract

Increasing the firm value is the company’s main objective, namely by increasing the share price. High stock prices would make the market believe in the company performance and prospects for the future. The company’s financial manager should be able to understand the factors that affect firm value to increase firm value and shareholders to prosper. This study aims to analyze the effect of firm size, leverage, profitability and dividend policy on firm value. This study uses a population of all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2017. The sample collection method uses a purposive sampling method, so that a sample of 101 companies is obtained. The analysis used in this study is to use multiple linear regression analysis which is processed using SPSS version 20. The results of the study show that the board of firm size and leverage does not affect firm value . While profitability and dividend policy affect firm value.
