Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Financing (NPF), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), Operational Cost to Operating Income (BOPO) and Size on the Profitability of Islamic Banks in Indonesia which were proxied Return on Assets (ROA). The sampling technique used in this study is purposive sampling technique with the criteria of Islamic Banks that publish annual financial reports from 2013-2017 on the website of Islamic Banks. The method of data analysis in this study with multiple linear regression analysis which was previously tested for classical assumptions. Hypothesis testing uses t statistic test, F statistical test and coefficient of determination. The results of the study are in partial shows that the variables CAR, NPF, FDR has no significant positive effect on Profitability, BOPO has a significant negative effect on Profitability, and Size has no significant negative effect on Profitability. While simultaneously the independent variables have an effect on Profitability. The adjusted R square is 0.514 which means that the ability of the five independent variables can explain Profitability amounted to 51.4%.
