Abstract

Diarrhea is a disease that can affect children in particular, infants and toddlers are more susceptible to this disease. The incidence of diarrhea in toddlers is one of them caused by cleanliness, knowledge and attitudes of mothers in providing complementary breastfeeding. The purpose of this study was to describe the incidence of diarrhea in children aged 0-24 months with complementary ASI (MP ASI) food and without ASI (MP ASI) early. This type of research is descriptive with a number of samples of 47 respondents by means of sampling Accidental sampling and using analysis of data Frequency, the number of samples in this study were as many as 47 respondents. The results of the study were 25 children who suffered from diarrhea with MP ASI early. Of the 25 children, most had the frequency of getting diarrhea the same as or more than 3 times in the last 3 months as many as 17 children, and 8 children had a frequency of less than 3 times. And 22 children who suffer from diarrhea without MP early breastfeeding, most have the frequency of getting diarrhea less than 3 times in the last 3 months as many as 16 children, and 6 children have the same frequency or more than 3 times.
