Abstract
The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of the storytelling method on language development in children in Al Fatih Islamic Early Childhood Education, Masaran in the 2018/2019school year. The method in this research was a quantitative method using the type of experimental research with a pre-eksperimetal research design using one group pretest-posttest design. This research was conducted in February 2019 at Al Fatih Islamic Early Childhood Education, Masaran with a total of 12 children. Data analysis techniques of this research used ttest with the help of SPSS 16.0 for windows. The results of data analysis using ttest obtained tcount ≤ ttable = -24.622 ≤ -1.7959 it can be concluded that there is the influence of the use of storytelling methods on children’s language development.
