Abstract

The increasing population, changes in consumption behavior and consumptive people's lifestyles have resulted in a high volume of waste produced so that it requires waste management through a waste bank. A waste bank is a place for 3R activities (reduce, reuse, recyle) to produce useful product and have economic values. The purpose of this study was to identify the factors that led to the success of the waste bank implementation, identify internal and external factors of SWOT and formulate a strategy as a recommendation for the success of the waste bank. This research uses AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method which is processed using Expert Choice software and SWOT method. Based on the calculation results using the AHP method, the garbage bank with the highest alternative priority results is owned by Uwuh Berkah 53.1%, Kreasik 26.6% and the lowest priority priority is Karya Mandiri 20.33%. Based on the results of the SWOT matrix calculation, Karya Mandiri waste banks must use the WO strategy (Weakness-Opportunity). The strategy given is to hold training on making waste recycling routines regularly, conduct compost laboratory tests, and enhance cooperation among stakeholders.
