Abstract
Chronic kidney failure is a disease with a high prevalence in Indonesia. Prevalence of Chronic Kidney Disease in RSUD Ir. Soekarno Sukaharjo is 9,1%. End-stage chronic renal failure symptoms usually occur and require hemodialysis therapy. Impaired kidney function is a high-risk disease that will be malnourished. Malnourished prevalence in Chronis Kidney Disease is 18 – 25%. Hemodialysis patients are more at risk of malnutrition, especially protein-energy malnutrition in patients with chronic renal failure because inadequate protein-energy intake can cause an increase in catabolism and uremic syndrome. To determine the differences in the level of energy and protein adequacy in CKD patients with malnutrition and CKD patients without malnutrition in the hemodialysis unit of RSUD Ir. Soekarno Sukoharjo. This study was an observational study with cross-sectional study design. Total respondent is 40 people. Data obtained with Subjective Global Assesment and FFQ. An independent t-test was used for data analysis. Respondents who were malnourished had average energy adequacy of 67.47% and those who were not malnourished 67.49%. 3. Respondents who were malnourished had average protein adequacy of 67.25% and those who were not malnourished 69.01%. There was no difference in protein energy adequacy 2 between patients with chronic renal failure who underwent hemodialysis with malnutrition and without malnutrition.
