Abstract

UKM Batik Anugrah Purnama and UKM Batik Ogud are Batik SMEs which produce different type of stamp batik with different types of raw materials. With the production process, it can lead to inefficiencies and the impact of using raw materials on the environment. The study was conducted using the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) method by comparing the environmental impact of the two SMEs so that the eco cost value was used to measure the ratio of Eco Efficiency Index (EEI) and Eco Efficiency Ratio (EER) using the SimaPro 8.5.2.0 software. With the calculation obtained the results of eco costs on UKM Batik Anugrah Purnama of Rp 1,767,337,381.54 and UKM Batik Ogud Rp 1,287,012,133.64 and the value of Eco Efficiency Index (EEI) in UKM Batik Anugrah Purnama of 0.178 and in UKM Batik Ogud of 0.147 which means that the two SMEs can said to be financially afffodable (affordable) but not environmentally friendly (not sustainable). The value of Eco Efficiency Ratio (EER) in UKM Batik Anugrah Purnama is -462.96% and UKM Batik Ogud is -578.65% so that from the comparison of the one is UKM Batik Anugrah Purnama.
