Abstract

Sidringo Lake is one of the attractions that has the potential to be developed in Mojotengah Village, Reban District, Batang Regency, but its existence is still new and not yet known to the public. Sidringo Lake is a naturally formed lake that is at an altitude of ± 2,222 masl. Tourists can lean around the lake and be able to enjoy the sunrise. This kind of tourism includes a little in the area of Central Java. This study aims to analyze the potential of existing tourism objects and find out the right development strategies for this tourism object. The method used is direct observation by looking directly at the actual situation in the field to find out internal and external potential. The results of this study indicate that Sidringo Lake has a high internal potential class and a low external potential class. Development strategy is obtained through SWOT Lake Sidringo analysis which includes; developing and improving the quality of tourism objects, coordinating with the private sector to invest capital, developing accessibility, increasing tourism promotion, increasing and optimizing the natural potential and uniqueness of tourism objects, and increasing empowerment in community involvement.
