Abstract

City parks have several functions for both urban and community environments including aesthetic functions, ecological functions, economic functions and socio-cultural functions. The quality of city parks in Surakarta City can be seen from the availability of facilities, the condition of the facilities, the availability of vegetation, and accessibility. The ability of a Geographic Information System can be utilized and used in various plans, because many of these plans are related to the dimensions of space and time. Presentation of information on the quality of city parks and the spatial presentation of an area by means of geographical depiction makes it easier for users to know the quality of city parks in Surakarta City. In order to be accessed widely, quickly, and easily, it needs to be built in the WebGis format. This research aims to; 1) Knowing the quality of city parks in Surakarta City 2) Analyzing the differences in the quality of city parks in Surakarta City 3) Displaying the profile of city parks in Surakarta City with WebGis visualization. Data collection in this study uses survey methods by means of interviews supported by direct observation to the field. The sampling method used in the study used the Accidental Sampling method for samples of visitors to the city park, Purposive Sampling for representatives from the Office of the Environment, and saturated samples for samples of city parks. The results of this study indicate that city parks in the city of Surakarta have varying levels of quality, among others. Monumen 45 Park belongs to a very high quality category, Jayawijaya Park and Edu Park fall into the high quality category, Punggawan Park and Sekartaji Park belong to the medium quality category, Patung Ontoseno Park, Komplang Park and Urban Forest are included in the low quality category , Keprabon Park and Tirtonadi Park fall into the very low quality category. The functions of each of these parks have been adapted to the needs and topography which make the quality of city parks in Surakarta City vary. In addition to the existing indicators, the comfort and safety factors in city parks are also factors in the quality of city parks. Then the profile of city parks with new WebGis visualization can be accessed through the author's personal laptop on localhost / Webmap /.
