Abstract

PT Dan Liris is one of the manufacturing company in Sukoharjo, Central Java that consists of garment and textile division. This research focused in fixing production on 100% cotton carded fabrics (TA 118 62 63 Rf Rf / AA) at weaving 2 departement. There are several important problems in this departement about quantity of goods recently being very wasteful, also there are problems about the lack of efectivity and efficiency in operator’s activity. Those troubles solved with the implementation of lean manufacturing using Value Stream Mapping (VSM) methods. In using VSM, there are several tools that will be used, it is called Value Stream Mapping Analysis Tool (VALSAT). In this research, it has been achieved a goal in fixing lead time 55,417 minutes. Beside, there are also fixing some dominating wastes it is waiting, transportation dan unnecessary inventory. Keywords: Lead Time,Value Stream Mapping, Weaving.
