Abstract

Implementation of the Qur'an reading program (P2BQ) is one of the programs implemented by SMK Negeri 6 Sukoharjo. The program is an attempt by Islamic religious education teachers to address students who have difficulty reading the Qur'an. the large number of new students whose reading ability is still below the average, especially grade X, makes students aware of the importance of understanding the Qur'an, so that at SMK Negeri 6 Sukoharjo requires students of class X to take part in the program. therefore the researcher was interested in conducting this research about the implementation of the Qur'an reading program (P2BQ) in improving the ability to read Al-Qur'an students at Sukoharjo Vocational High School 6 Academic Year 2018/2019. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of the Qur'an reading learning program (P2BQ) and to describe the Supporting Factors and Obstacles Factors in the implementation of the Qur'an reading learning program (P2BQ) in improving the ability to read Al-Qur'an students at Sukoharjo Year 6 Vocational School 2018/2019 lesson. The type of research used in this study is Field Resach. There are three data collection methods used, namely: observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis methods use interactive models, which include: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The conclusions of this study are that the implementation of the learning program runs in accordance with a predetermined time, namely the implementation carried out at the beginning of the teaching and learning of Islamic religious education during one lesson, while the methods used in the learning are Qira'ati and Iqra 'methods. Supporting factors in the implementation of the Qur'an reading learning program (P2BQ) are the encouragement and motivation of Islamic religious education teachers to encourage students to take part in the program, while the factors of servitude are some of them: Makhrijul Letters which are lacking, Mastery of Tajwid Sciences is lacking, there are still many students who are not familiar with punctuation, fluency in reading, lack of interest in new students following the program (P2BQ) and facilities that are less supportive in the implementation of the Qur'an reading learning program (P2BQ).
