Abstract
Water is a very important resource for every living thing on earth, Water is a very important resource for every living thing on earth. On the other hand, poor water management can have a negative impact, namely the occurrence of floods during the rainy season and drought in the dry season. In Pekalongan area there is often a puddle of water during the rainy season. To reduce the occurrence of inundation and flooding, a catchment area is needed. Therefore the study of infiltration wells is intended to improve the ability of the soil to absorb rainwater. The research method used is quantitative. Data used include: data on rainfall, soil permeability data. Calculation of planned rainfall using the Gumbel distribution method, calculation of rainfall intensity using the mononobe formula. Based on the results of the analysis, in a house with a roof area of 80 m2 and a land area of 120 m2 a large discharge is obtained before an infiltration well is available at 0.00199 m3 / second. After applying infiltration wells with a diameter of 1.2 m and a depth of 1,268 m runoff discharge that flows into 0,00081 m3 / sec so that it can reduce flood discharge by 59%. For houses with a roof area of 100 m2 and a land area of 170 m2 the resulting discharge is 0.00281 m3 / second after applied infiltration wells with a diameter of 1.2 and a depth of 2.159 m flood discharge flowing to 0.00135 m3 / sec can be used 52% . For houses with a roof area of 120 m2 and a land area of 200 m2 the flood discharge produced is 0.00331 m3 / second, after applying infiltration wells with a diameter of 1.2 m and a depth of 2,699 m the discharge flowing to 0.00155 m3 / sec can be used reduce flood discharge by 53%
