Abstract

Buying and selling activities are relationships that occur between humans and humans. Usually the buyer gets the desired item and the seller gets the money, so this is where a contract occurs. In the practice of buying and selling chicken eggs in Ronowijayan Siman Ponorogo, there are problems, namely the eggs purchased from farmers have several defects and are only known by the buyers after they are dismantled from the crates. Usually the defective egg is placed in the middle then above it is covered with good eggs. Then the buyer asks for compensation or demands the right to the farmer, but the farmer is not willing to meet the demands of the buyer for various reasons. Based on the above problems, research has been carried out at Ronowijayan Siman Ponorogo on the practice of buying and selling chicken eggs, whether buying and selling practices that occur are in accordance with Islamic law. The research method used in this study is qualitative with a deductive method, namely analyzing the general conclusions of the problems that 5 occur then described into concrete examples or facts to explain the conclusions of the practice of buying and selling. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the practice of buying and selling chicken eggs in Ronowijayan Siman Ponorogo is illegitimate, farmers are proven to knowingly and intentionally mix defective eggs into the sales crates and requests for compensation or right from buyers are not carried out. Buying and selling like this is clearly prohibited considering the object being sold must be clean and not defective. In this matter, clearly the farmer does not follow the buying and selling Shari'a according to Islamic law and of course the buyers will also suffer losses.
