Abstract

Farmer in industrial land are individual who work to manage nature or rice fields the place of work gradually undergoes the function of transfering agricultural land to non agriculture, so that this affect subjective well being of farmer in industrial land. The purpose of this study is to understand the subjective well being of farmers in industrial land. An interview method is used to collect data on five informants who are native farmers or rice field ownerss who have converted in to agricultulral land or gradually become industrial land. Reseacrch results from subjective well being show that farmers evaluate life satisfaction throgh effective woys to improve agricultural science in eradicating pest and being more creative and innovatie in farming and farmers assesing them shelves as heroes ar the backbone of country as a food producer so that energe happy,felling, but lack of support from the goverment and the infrastructure facilities do not support and attacks of pest, crop failure makes farmers less satisfied in life so that makes thing inpleasant in life, but farmers have a psoitive and thankful the revebue given reduces the negative effects and postive relactionships with coleagues or neighbors and working with freedom to make farmers in industrial areas continue to do their jobs.
