Abstract
The Tile in Boyolali district in the region is the company producing tile. Most of the production process using human power, plus the lack of breaks, it is often the presence of overtime and work done directly causing workload. This research uses a method of the Workload Scale (DRAWS) to mentally workload. By doing the calculation of the physical workload, the results are obtained by the method of Cardiovascular Load (CVL), which is the highest part of the processing and the drying value of CVL 30.96% and the amount to 32.79% then the repair needs to be done. As for the oxygen consumption is the most effective job of drying with a value of 0.57 liters/minute. Then the mental load method overloaded with a value of DRAWS is 63.94% of the part of tile printing with a value. This research proposal for improvement is providing treatment for Artco carts of raw materials, hand pallet for the milling of raw material, as well as a drying place tile design. In addition, the granting of music printing at the roof tiles, the break time and energy enhancements for well as work stations approach.
