Abstract
One physical disorder that often occurs in the elderly is falling. Falling is an unexpected event where someone suddenly is on the ground, floor, or level below it. Therefore, efforts to reduce risk are needed, one of which is the Otago Home Exercise Program training in reducing the risk of falling in the elderly. This type of research is "Quasi Experimental Design" with a research design in the form of "Pretest-Posttest With Control Group Design". The sampling technique in this study uses purposive sampling technique with a sample size of 20 people then divided into two groups. The first group will be treated with Otago exercise program and the second group will be given education in the form of roads in the morning. The results showed a difference of 17.15% from the two groups, namely the percentage of 22.85% in the treatment group and 5.7% in the control group. Thus it shows that in the treatment group is greater than the control group, it can be concluded that the effect on the treatment group is better than the influence in the control group. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that otago exercise programs can be influential to reduce the risk of falling in the elderly.
