Abstract
This research was conducted with the aim to determine the attributes of consumer desires, in designing prototypes of mushroom baglog press tools. Produce a new product design prototype, which is a more ergonomic mushroom press tool, according to user needs. The benefits of research are as a medium for applying the material obtained during lectures, namely Product Design and Development, Ergonomics, Work Design Analysis. Can feel comfort and convenience when using a mushroom press tool. Research method Analysis of Quality Function Deployment (QFD) with data collection techniques using questionnaires / questionnaires, interviews, documentation and observation. From the results of the study it was found that the first priority attribute was more baglog tubes. Whereas the last priority is that the turning wheel is not easy to wear. From the anthropometric approach used in designing ergonomic products, the product size is obtained (125 x 50 x 150) cm. When pressing the mushroom baglog, the skill of the user can determine the result of pressing the baglog. The advantage of this research with the results of previous research is on the relation of the discussion of ergonomic value from the design of mushroom baglog press tools. In this study the study focused more on explaining the ergonomic value of the design of mushroom baglog press aids, where previously one tool could be used by two operators, but from the discussion of this research what about one simple tool could be used by two or more mushroom baglog operators.
