Abstract

Futsal is one of the most popular sport game today, it is not only forr sport achievement but also for their recreation and healthy. Agility and speed are important performance parameters in futsal games. Several factors that affect agility and speed include the shape of foot soles and the leg length. To find out whether or not there is a the relation between the shape of foot soles and the legs length compared with the agility and speed of futsal players at SMK Muhammadiyah Bligo Pekalongan. The type of this research is cross sectional method. The population of this research are futsal players from SMK Muhammadiyah Bligo Pekalongan with an average age of 15-18 years, amounting to 30 people. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The testing data used normality test with Shapiro Wilk Test method and homogeneity test with One-Way Anova method. Results of the study were analyzed with Correlation Pearson Product Moment test. Pearson Product Moment Correlation test results obtained no relation between the shape of the foot and agility with a significance value of 0.091 and the linkage value -0,379 and there was no relation between the shape of the foot and the correlation value with 0.495 and significance value -0.158. It is estimated that there is a relation between leg length and agility with a significance value of 0.018 and a value of 0.512. The conclusion of this study is there is a relation between the legs length with agility and speed, whereas no relation between shape of the foot soles with agility and speed.
