Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of managerial ownership, institutional ownership, foreign ownership and company size on financial performance in manufacturing companies listed on the Stock Exchange in a three-year period with a purposive sampling method. The statistical analysis used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis used to examine the effect of managerial ownership structure, institutional ownership, foreign ownership and firm size on the company's financial performance. The data used in this research is secondary data. Data sources from this study were obtained by downloading financial statements at each manufacturing company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2016, which were obtained through the site of the Indonesian Capital Market Directory (ICMD) and financial reports published by Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) www .idx.co.id in the period 2014-2016. The results of this study indicate that managerial ownership influences financial performance. Whereas institutional ownership, foreign ownership and company size have no effect on financial performance.
