Abstract

Wakaf is an institution which is potential in developing the religion and play role as a place to develop the fellowship of the religion. In this case, it is particularly done for developing the mental and spiritual toward the ultimate development of human beings. Wakaf also play role as the management of the religion which has economical benefit and potential that nedeed to be manage effectively and efficiently for the whorship need and increase the common wealth. The social well-being of people that is expected cannot be done optimally if the Naẓīr does not run its role maximally, on the other hand, if Naẓīr is managed properly and can be used optimally, therefore, it can give maximum and better result compared to the previous condition, such as Ulil Albab 2 boarding school. This paper is aimed at to answer the problem statements which is to find out the role of Naẓīr in using and managing the wakaf treasure in Ulil Albab 2 boarding school. The purpose of this research is to find out the role of Naẓīr in using and managing the wakaf treasure in Ulil Albab 2 boarding school. This research is considered as field research which is done by using qualitative approach, an investiagtion process that is done to understand the social problem or problem realted to human. The researcher collected the data of the research by using observation, interview, and documentation. The data obtained from the observation then analyze by using descriptive-qualitative method which is by analyzing and describing the data. Based on the research finding and data analysis done by the researcher, therefore, it can be concluded that: The use of the wakaf treasure in Ulil Albab 2 boarding school, in this case, the wakaf commitee and the foundation (the organization of nazhir, the manager) has effectively and efficiently use the wakaf treasure in the form of: the dormitory of the boarding school, Ulil Albab 2 mosque, the health business in the boarding school, economical productive business. The management of the wakaf treasure in Ulil Albab 2 boarding school done by the wakaf commitee and the foundation has been done optimally.
