This shows that hypertension is a health problem that needs attention because of its high morbidity and mortality. Handling of physiotherapy given by researchers in the form of brisk walking exercise and slow deep breathing exercise to reduce blood pressure in patients with hypertension. Objective: To determine the effect of giving brisk walking exercise and slow deep breathing exercise to decrease blood pressure in patients with hypertension. Research Method: This type of research uses quasi experimental with two group pre test and post test design methods Results:The results of the effect test using Wilcoxon test in the treatment group 2 obtained the results of p: 0.002 (p <0.05), while in the treatment group 1 the results of p: 0.005 (p <0.05), which means there is an influence on systolic blood pressure after treated. Then, the results of the effect tests on the treatment groups 1 and 2 obtained the results of p: 0.002 (p <0.05) which meant that there was an effect on diastolic blood pressure after treatment. Conclusion:the effect of giving a walking walking exercise and a slow deep breathing exercise can reduce blood pressure in hypertensive patients at the Ngudi Waras Elderly Health Center, Tohudan Keywords: Brisk Walking Exercise, Hypertension, Slow Deep Breathing Exercise
