Abstract

This study aims to analyze employment in the tourism industry (sectors in the hotel sub-sector) in 9 regencies / cities in the Province of Bali in 2011-2017. The data used are employment, number of hotels, number of travel agencies, GDP per capita, and education level. The model used in this study is panel data regression using Cross section and Time series data. Data was obtained from the Central Statistics Agency of Bali Province. The results showed that based on the Cross section test the variable number of hotels, number of restaurants, number of travel agencies and per capita GRDP had a significant influence on employment in 9 regencies / cities in the Province of Bali in 2011-2017.
