Abstract
Mental health is a psychosocial condition that is good, healthy, and prosperous, where individuals develop their potential, can overcome stress, are able to carry out productive activities and can contribute positively to the environment. The purpose of this study is to describe the mental health conditions in children who are victims of sexual violence. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive narrative approach in which data is obtained through interviews from three informants, two of whom are the main informants, and one is a supporting informant. Determination of informants is done by purposive sampling. The main informant criteria were girls who were victims of sexual violence, and supporting informants were close people who knew the situation of the main informants. The results showed that mental health in children who were victims of sexual violence was in a poor condition, this was indicated by, from the four aspects of mental health that should be fulfilled by informants, there were only two aspects that could be fulfilled, namely aspects of being able to overcome stress, and able to carry out productive activities. While the other two aspects that cannot be fulfilled are aspects of developing potential and positive contributing aspects in the environment. This is influenced by internal and external factors, including the psychological and physical state of the informant and the support of family, friends and the environment.
