Abstract
The increase of activity and consumstion of more than 7 billion people in the world causes the increase of word surface temperature. Eventhough Colomadu district isnt an urban area, but the development of this district as same as urban. This condition make the surface temperature worsted, because of the accumulation of CO2. Preservation of public green space and maximizing private green open space believe effective in minimizing the impact of surface temperature rise. This research was conducted to find out how much the relationship between temperature agility and green space availability. The method secondary data by extracting Landsat 8 TIRS region image into surface temperature and OGS distribution. The results of the two extractions are then correlated using the R product moment correlation formula. The results showed that the average temperature of the Colomadu was 28.9 oC, with a temperature range of 23.3 - 35.7 oC. Private green open space meets 25.4% of the total area and public green space meets 8.74% of the area. The correlation between the surface temperature and public and private OGS shows a strong inverse relationship. Compared to public OGS, private OGS has a stronger relationship with surface temperatures. Keywords: Surface temperature, Open Green Space, correlation
