Abstract
The purpose of this study is; a) To find out the factors causing underage children to commit theft; b) To find out the judge's consideration to impose sanctions on the child who is a criminal offender; c) To know the application of criminal sanctions for minors who commit criminal acts of theft. Data collection that is needed or used as research material uses the following methods: The approach method used in this research is normative method, because in this research which will be examined are the rules of law, the principles of law Application of Criminal Sanctions for Underage Children as Perpetrators of Crime of Theft.Based on the results of the study that the Factors Causing Children Under Age Doing Crime of theft are a) Factors in themselves; b) Economic factors; c) Environmental factors; d) Law enforcement factors; e) Factors of global development.
